Organic Cotton Fabric

When we make our organic plant-dyed apparel, we always order extra fabric to make sure we don't run out. Since we want every yard to go to use, we are offering our extras to you so you have sustainable options for your own projects.

100% GOTS certified organic cotton jersey fabric. The fabric is 65 inches (170cm) wide and  approx. 5.3 ounces per square yard (180 grams per square meter).

Sold by the yard.

This fabric is completely undyed, all natural and organic.

Conventional clothing fabric is grown with harmful pesticides and dyed with toxic petroleum-based dyes, including dyes known to cause cancer. Even white conventional fabric is topped off with all kinds of chemical whiteners, brighteners and fabric softeners.

This fabric is just pure, clean organic cotton without bleaching or post-treatments.

This fabric is GOTS certified, which in additional to strict environmental standards, also certifies that every company involved in the production of the fabric provides fair wages and safe working conditions.

Machine wash on the gentle cycle using a mild detergent. Tumble dry on low.
