Specialty Organic Cotton / Natural Rubber Elastic

When we make our organic plant-dyed apparel, we always order extra trim and elastic to make sure we don't run out. Since this elastic is very difficult to find, we are offering our extras to you so you have sustainable elastic options for your own projects.

The elastic is made with undyed GOTS certified organic cotton braided over natural rubber elastic.

The buttonhole elastic is 15mm wide (~0.6"). The edge binding elastic (foldable for use on fabric edges) is also 15mm wide.

This elastic is undyed, unbleached and untreated.

This elastic is from a company that practices fair trade throughout its supply chain. The natural rubber is from rubber tree plantations in Malaysia that do not use child labor.

The elastic is 60-65% certified organic cotton and 35-40% natural rubber depending on the width.

Machine wash on the gentle cycle using a mild detergent. Tumble dry on low.
