Organic Cotton / Copper Fabric
When we make our organic plant-dyed apparel, we always order extra fabric to make sure we don't run out. Since we want every yard to go to use, we are offering our extras to you so you have sustainable options for your own projects.
97% organic cotton and 3% copper filaments, this fabric is perfect for athletic clothing and any thing else you can dream up. The organic cotton is Tanguis, a high-quality, long-staple cotton and the copper may provide additional anti-microbial and therapeutic properties.
Copper naturally neutralizes bacteria, fungi, and viruses on contact, preventing odors and germs. Copper is also believed to provide an anti-inflammatory role and, according to the manufacturer, the embedded copper fibers help conduct electricity, offering protection against electromagnetic fields (EMF) while retaining body warmth and allowing natural airflow.
The fabric comes in a 70 inch (about 178cm) tube and is approx. 9 ounces per linear yard (about 157 grams per square meter).
Sold in half yard and yard increments. Purchases of several yards will be shipped as a single continuous piece.
