Organic Linen Handkerchiefs

Conventional tissues are made of chemically-treated wood pulp that is bleached and coated with a plethora of petroleum-derived oils, waxes, alcohols, thickening agents and undefined "fragrances."

Our  linen handkerchiefs are made from 100% GOTS certified organic linen and sewn with organic cotton thread. Our ayurvedically dyed handkerchiefs are dyed with organic plants and herbs known for their calming and anti-inflammatory properties. 

Use as needed then throw in the wash with your face masks. A safe, reusable alternative to chemically treated tissues.

Each handkerchief is approximately 11" x 11".

The ayurvedically dyed handkerchiefs are dyed with organic and local plants, including calendula flowers, lavender, rosemary, aloe vera, chamomile and avocado seeds. These plants are known for their calming and anti-inflammatory properties to help sooth irritated skin.

The undyed handkerchiefs are made with undyed, organic linen fabric and organic cotton thread, and have not been treated with petroleum-based dyes, synthetic optical brighteners or chemical whiteners.

The fabric and sewing thread used in these handkerchiefs are GOTS certified, which in additional to its strict environmental standards, also certifies that every company involved in production provides fair wages and safe working conditions.

The handkerchiefs were manufactured in-house in Los Angeles where we provide our workers safe working conditions and fair wages.

These handkerchiefs are made with GOTS certified organic fabric and sewing thread - the highest standard in organic. Every single step of in the creation of this piece, from the growing of the cotton and linen, to final manufacture, is independently verified to be organic.

The ayurvedically dyed handkerchiefs are dyed with local and organically grown plants. Plant dyes do not produce toxic run-off like conventional (and other organic dyes) and plant dyes remove carbon from the air during the plant's growth, helping reverse the cause of global climate change.

The undyed handkerchiefs are not dyed, bleached or chemically treated. No dyes or post-treatments means no runoff and no water used for dyeing or post-treatments.

Machine wash on gentle cycle using a mild detergent and without fabric softeners. To keep natural linen looking its best, hang dry or tumble dry on low until damp and then lay flat to dry. Light iron when needed.
