The model in the purple and grey shirts is 5'5" and wearing a size small. The model in navy is 5’6” and wearing a size small. A small is 26.5" long and 33" at the bust unstretched.

Unlike industry-standard petroleum-based dyes, this purple tank is dyed with natural plant dyes from madder root and the wood of the Campeche tree, the navy tank is dyed with organic indigo leaves and the grey tank is dyed with pomegranate peels and oak galls.

Madder root is one of the oldest natural dyes, known for its ability to make beautiful reds. It has been safely used for thousands of years, since at least ancient Egypt (cloth dyed with it has even been found alongside the possessions of King Tut).

Wood from the Campeche tree (also known as logwood) has been safely used in Europe since the 1500s, and by the Mayans for hundreds of years before that. It is prized for creating longlasting blacks with the addition of iron.

Indigo leaf dye has been safely used for thousands of years (dating back to 2000-3000 B.C.) for its ability to make strong and beautiful blues. In the 1800s, natural indigo was almost completely replaced by synthetic indigo, which is derived from the known toxin aniline - a chemical that has been used to make rocket fuel.

Oak has natural antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce skin irritation.

Pomegranate peels are rich in vitamins and antioxidants, even more than the juicy pomegranate seeds. The peels are anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and are consistently used in beauty products for maintaining healthy skin.

The fabric and sewing thread used in this top are GOTS certified, which in additional to its strict environmental standards, also certifies that every company involved in production provides fair wages and safe working conditions.

Machine wash on gentle cycle using a mild pH-neutral detergent and without fabric softeners. Tumble dry on low.
